I got the same problem; mirrorselect not working anymore, everything else is working though I can resolve host names etc. Turning on debug mode, it turns out that netselect times out on all hosts. This is also the case when starting netselect separately. I have no idea as to why that happens; half a year ago it was working just fine. Workaround: use interactive mode to select mirror s you like.
Posted: Tue May 06, pm Post subject:. Same problem here. I ended up using the -D option to download from each mirror instead of using netselect. It has a bunch of improvements and more options. Also you can add "-d 4" which will turn on debug mode to level 4 and spit out a lot more of what is happening in the code.
