Reviews and evaluates staff performance. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals. Develops, manages, and monitors assigned operating budgets to meet or exceed targets. Recommends adjustments to the budget to assure a balanced operation and submits reports on current operations. Develops and directs high quality member engagement strategies and programs which support branch and Association mission, goals, and strategies.

May direct branch marketing and communication efforts. May ensure the maintenance of facilities and properties of the branch to assure high standards of maintenance, safety, cleanliness and to assure that the requirements of regulatory codes are met. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Essential Functions. Provides leadership to annual fundraising campaign, and assists in recruiting of key leadership and campaigners for assigned divisions. Ensures that their staff achieves their goals according to the association timeline. Effectively communicates with school district and maintains a positive relationship.

Represents and promotes the YMCA in the local community and develops positive working relationships with other organizations, businesses, and governmental entities. Develops, maintains, and models collaborative relationships with community agencies in service delivery area. Oversees the hiring, training, development and evaluation of staff. Develops, manages, and monitors the program operating budget and meet or exceeds budget targets.

Directs strategic planning efforts and develops the annual operating plan of the program. Conduct appropriate evaluation of program and staff to ensure the program maintains a high level of quality. Fosters a climate of innovation to develop member-focused programs which support the Y mission, goals, and strategies. Institutes sound accounting procedures, investment policies and financial controls.
